How does it work?
When you light a flame on the stove or kitchen by pressing the piezo ignition, a valve in the device opens allowing the gas to escape. The heat of the flame generates an electric current, keeping the valve in an open position. If a gust of wind or other force extinguishes the flame, the mechanism inside the device cools and the electric current does not flow, closing the valve and does not let out the gas.
