SCORPION is a 100% dorsal multi-purpose vest for all types of diving, with a sturdy yet lightweight construction (2,450 kg size M) and with a low transport volume but robust and very flexible.
♦ The system of harness completely independent of the bag, provides absolute stability of the vest on the diver and completely releases oppression of the chest, axillary and abdominal area due to the expansion of the bag to the outside of the dorsal area and surrounding the bottle. Their pattern and arrangement of harnesses make it 100% unisex.
♦ Shoulder pads with internal seams to avoid any friction even when diving without a suit.
♦ Ventral truss with tension system with pulley effect that guarantees an optimal fixation of this critical point in the face of the stability of the vest on the body. The tensioning maneuver is performed by moving the cinch rings by 90º to the outside instead of to the sides.
♦ Abdominal area with low profile lobes and large zipper accessory pockets.
♦ High-capacity dorsal air chamber (19 kg size M) but with an external volume of stowage always contained, thanks to the elastic containment tensioners that have as an additional mission to facilitate the emptying maneuver and avoid displacement of the air during the dive that would cause instability.
♦ Foldable structure very useful for the stowage of the vest especially in case of having little space in the bag (diving trips). Despite this, unlike many vests considered "travel", the stability of the bottle under water is not compromised thanks to the rigidity of the padding, the configuration of the air chamber that acts as a guide for the bottle and the double girth
♦ Fully coated harness with a comfortable neutral buoyancy padding made of a closed cell material that prevents the accumulation of water or air and, therefore, reduces the inherent buoyancy of the vest and facilitates rapid drying.
♦ LAS (Lock Aid System) 2.0 ballast system, vertical located in line with the bottle behind the pockets and perfectly integrated in the profile of the vest. This system, following the Cressi tradition, guarantees the maximum ease of insertion and disinsertion of the ballast with total safety against accidental losses since its anchors incorporate a spring effect (patented) in anticipation of accidental hookings.
♦ Direct System Inflator: Double metal filter in the air inlet under the stem and cylindrical around the valve. Very robust body and attractive design. Inflation rate recalibrated, 50% higher (traditional waistcoat of size M in 4 seconds at 1 atm). Antiarena design with minimized mouth inflator nozzle. Push button with wide clearances in relation to its seat to avoid the blocking action of sand grains. Vacuum push button with sealing by means of silicone washer. Push button integrated in profile to avoid unwanted inflation when stretching the trachea to empty. New very resistant trachea of very progressive curvature. Guide clamp-integrated hose.
♦ New low profile discharge valve with non-return valve that prevents accidental water ingress.
♦ 4 ABS rings.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
The configuration of this vest prioritizes maximum freedom of movement, for this reason the shoulder pads are axillary and the pockets are low profile, in order to free the chest and ventral area. The fixation of the vest to the body must be based on the tension of the ventral strap-girdle assembly while the axillary lashings must be tensioned only as necessary without reaching the limit (a common error in many divers) which would cause the vest to be folded over itself and excessively high.
