Get reliable and accurate heading information with the easy-to-install, GPS-based MSC™ 10 Nautical Satellite Compass.
• The multi-band (GPS L1 and L5) and multi-constellation (GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and BeiDou) GNSS receiver provides accurate positioning (<1 meter CEP, <3 meters 95%).
• Integrated Heading and Position Reference System (AHRS): with a fully integrated Heading and Position Reference System to improve GPS heading at any speed, including when pitching in rough seas, making tight turns or when stationary.
• Multiple receivers provide heading accuracy to within 2 degrees. Because it uses satellite signals, you don't have to worry about magnetic interference.
• You can use the MSC 10 compass as a primary sensor for autopilots and other onboard systems that need accurate heading information.
• Heading, heel, roll and heel information directly to your compatible Garmin chartplotter via the NMEA 2000 network.
In the unlikely event that the satellite signal is lost, the MSC 10 will seamlessly switch from the GPS-based heading option to the magnetometer-based option. (Magnetometer calibration is required for auxiliary magnetic heading support).
