For those who are serious about sport fishing on the high seas, the GSD 26 drives the establishment of HD targets at a whole new level. Thanks to a compatible transducer, the spread spectrum technology of the GSD 26 unit scans several frequencies at the same time, so it returns a large amount of data to the receiver. The result you can expect is a separation of objectives similar to that of shallow water, at much greater depths: up to 10,000 ft (3,000 m).
The traditional fixed frequency mode allows you to manually adjust frequencies from 25 kHz to 210 kHz for improved targeting of particular fish species. You can also adjust the transmit power from 300 W to 3 kW (depending on the transducer) to have even greater control of the data returned by the sonar.
