Indicative Registration boats and viewing:

Indicative Registration is the alphanumeric set to individualize each ship or other vessel, being, therefore, unique.
Indicative Registration will be painted or fixed on both bows of all boats of the 7th list, to the maximum possible height of the waterline, and its sufficient size relative to the size of the ship or boat, so that it can be easily identified at sea, with its white on black dark helmets and helmets

Indicative Composition Registration::

  - The list to which it belongs in numbers (6ª or 7ª)
  - Maritime Province with the corresponding letters
  - The number corresponding Maritime District
  - Folio and year

Each of these data shall be separated by a hyphen.

Boats exempt from registration

Documentation required for registration of boats

To register the vessel must be presented as detailed in Article 8.6 of RD 1435/2010:

  - Invoice of purchase.
  - Proof of payment of VAT.
  - Proof of payment of registration tax.

Recreational craft subject to this Article shall be obliged to fly the Spanish flag. Furthermore, these vessels must carry painted or permanently affixed on both tacks on enrollment rates. Owners and patterns of these yachts will be responsible that they meet the standards of maritime safety and radio.

Documents required for application for registration

To register your boat is necessary to present all what is stated in Article 9 of Royal Decree 1435/2010:

  - Invoice of purchase.
  - Declaration of conformity.
  - Certificate of origin and customs clearance.
  - Proof of income from tax at the register of ships.
  - Proof of payment of the rate of aids to navigation.
  - Proof of payment of excise tax on certain means of transport.
