The FastFind 220 Personal Location Radio Beacon (PLB) provides you with a last safety resource anywhere in the world in case of mortal danger. Ideal for adventurous people embarking in areas where coverage is limited.
The FastFind acts as your personal emergency location beacon, it can be your last spring of communication with the search and collection bodies.
The electronics design has been updated in 2019, so it is detected and located almost immediately, thanks to the duality of GPS and Galileo receivers.
When activated, the Fast Find 220 radio beacon transmits a unique and serialized identification signal to the COSPAS-SARSAT satellite system in order to accurately determine its position anywhere on the earth's surface. The distress signal will be received and decoded by the nearest coordination center who will initiate a search and rescue protocol.
Hispano Radio Marítima distributes the Fast Find 220 already programmed with a unique identification to its customers, giving a better response in the rescue action.
Its small size contradicts its robust construction and output power. Once activated, the distress beacon will send a help signal and continue transmitting at least 35 hours, with an output power of 5 watts, making sure that your request for help comes through any type of condition. Pocket-sized, the water-resistant beacon, transmits once we have pressed the button, to alert the search and rescue services of its difficult situation.
