Mercury high-performance gear lubricant is an exclusive formulation designed to provide maximum protection and longer gear life under extreme conditions, including high-speed, high-power applications.
This SAE-90 gear lubricant features improved emulsifiers to help protect gears and gears from water and adhesion to gears and internal components. There are additional additives to protect the gears from metal-to-metal contact and excessive wear. Mercury recommends that you change your equipment at least once a year (before storage) or every 100 hours of operation under normal conditions of use (50 hours for salt water).
Compatible with any Mercruiser sterndrive and any Mercury/Mariner outboards (except Japanese engines) that have a 0.375 in-16 drain screw.
For Japanese outboards, it will be necessary the adapter Ref. 883704K03.
