The Honda BF 6 outboard engine is a small, lightweight, and compact design with a built-in 1.5-liter fuel tank (BF 5/BF 6 with the option to connect an external tank). It features easy starting, comfortable handling, and quiet operation. With a handle for easy transport, it's ideal for small fishing boats, canoes, sailboats, and inflatables. Extremely low vibration levels are achieved thanks to Honda's innovative silent blocks.
Smooth Sailing:
Honda BF 6 outboard motors are extremely reliable and quiet. Their lightweight design and ergonomic carrying handle make for comfortable and enjoyable boating. Honda's advanced engineering provides high performance in a small motor, combining numerous innovative features with a lightweight build.
Portable Power:
These compact motors have enough power to propel a boat in open water, yet they are light enough to be carried in the trunk of a car. Thanks to their ergonomic handle, the BF 6 outboard can be taken anywhere. Despite its size, these motors benefit from all the advantages of Honda's advanced four-stroke technology. The BF 6 outboard is equipped with a safety feature that only allows the engine to start when it's in neutral. This new engine provides excellent acceleration and high torque levels. Even at low RPMs, the outboard motor has a solid and reliable torque that can drive heavier vessels than any other motor in its class.
Economical and Easy to Handle:
The BF 6 model features a foldable ergonomic tiller handle with a twist-grip throttle and a lock that improves control and minimizes user fatigue. Like other Honda outboards, these motors are extremely fuel-efficient.
Just the Right Amount of Power:
Users can benefit from a larger displacement, as even at low RPMs, the Honda BF 6 outboard has a solid and reliable torque that can drive heavier vessels than any other motor in its class.
Easy Starting and Reliability:
Thanks to the decompression mechanism, you can start the engine with minimal effort. This system minimizes the force required on the pull cord. This new BF 6 includes an oil alert system that immediately warns of any drop in pressure and, if necessary, automatically limits the engine speed to 2,300 RPM.
High Load Capacity:
With an alternator, it can deliver up to 6 A, providing power to charge multiple electronic devices.
Easy Recoilless Starting:
The twist-grip throttle with a lock for control and reduced user fatigue.
The BF 6 is equipped with a safety feature that only allows the engine to start when it's in neutral.
Optional 6-amp alternator available.
The price includes: emergency tool kit, emergency start rope, aluminum propeller, man overboard feature, and user manual.
