The Ultralight 403, extremely light, can be mounted in any conventional kayak; special models are available for specific requirements.
The engine, the battery and the throttle lever meet the requirements for sealing according to the IP67 standard. Whether in lakes or rivers or in the sea, in protected waters or not, the Ultralight 403 is the ideal travel companion on the liquid element.
Also for canoes and very small boats.
● Total weight 8.9 kg, battery included
● Maximum speed of up to 10 km / h (depending on the type of boat), faster than any conventional fishing engine
● Autonomy of up to 40 km at slow speed (also depends on the type of vessel).
● Fully waterproof (IP67)
● Accurate calculation of the remaining range by GPS
● It can be charged with solar energy, even with the battery in operation
● Ultra-light outboard motor, weight with battery: 8.9 kg
● Equivalent to a 1 HP combustion engine
● Incorporates high performance lithium battery, 320 Wh
● Includes charger, throttle lever, integrated on-board computer with GPS-based distance calculation and man-to-water safety key
● Lift / auto lift / autostop in the event of a rollover: easy to integrate into the kayak control system
● Extended navigation functions of the on-board computer thanks to the TorqTrac application (the application is not included)
● Universal mounting ball, easy fixation to the kayak
● Tireless: up to 40 km of autonomy

Information regarding autonomy and speed
● In conventional navigation by displacement (unlike navigation in glide mode) the necessary power is multiplied to the third power with respect to the speed, which means that to double the speed of advance in the water it is necessary to multiply by eight the power of the engine.
● And vice versa: by minimizing the speed, a much greater autonomy is achieved.
● The Torqeedo Ultralight on-board computer calculates the remaining range permanently, based on the motor consumption data, the battery charge level and the GPS speed. This remaining autonomy is shown in real time both on the engine screen and in the TorqTrac app for smartphone.
Technical data:
* Torqeedo fixed point traction data is based on measurements made in accordance with international ISO standards. The fixed-point traction data of fishing motors are usually measured differently and, therefore, yield higher results. To be able to compare the fixed point traction of Torqeedo motors with conventional fishing motors, it is necessary to increase approx. 50% Torqeedo fixed point traction data.
