● Designed for marine use, these battery chargers feature a four-stage IUoU charging schedule.
● First stage of bulk charging, the battery receives a maximum continuous current charge.
● Once about 75% of full capacity is recharged, the charger automatically switches to a constant voltage absorption stage for the rest.
● When the battery is at 100%, the charger will maintain this charge stage for 15 minutes (as long as the charge is below 6.25% of full charge current) and then switch to Float charge stage.
● At this stage, the battery charger maintains a full charge without overcharging the battery. It compensates for self-discharge and "floats" any charge in the battery.
● After being in the float stage for 12 days, the shipper implements the final stage of reconditioning. At this stage, the charger will switch to bulk stage for 85 minutes, to ensure the battery stays in good condition.
