Vetus Uniflex flexible connection
• Exact alignment and concentric installation of the propeller.
• The flexible connections of the Uniflex type allow a misalignment or 2° maximum.
• UNIFLEX connections centre the shaft to the inverter by means of a conical clamping hub and are ideal flexible couplings between a propeller shaft with a self-aligning bearing and a motor on flexible supports.
• These couplings have axial and radial protection. If the shaft is at an angle of 2 degrees to the motor, the maximum permissible shaft speed is 1500 rpm.
Specifications UNIFLEX type 13 and 16:
• With cylindrical bore
• Clamping hub for shafts with a diameter of 20, 25 and 30 (type 13), and 30, 35 or 40mm for type 16
• Connection 4‘’ (type 13) AND/OR 5‘’ (type 16) for Hurth, Velvet, Technodrive ZF, PRM and other brands.
• Not suitable for V-Drives.
